Fruits & vegetables are a great source of fiber and the antioxidant nutrient, vitamin C. Be sure to take a look at the Rainbow's End to see why these are needed by your body.

Red fruits & vegetables also contain some other important nutrients and phytochemicals.

WatermelonTomatoes Watermelon, pink grapefruit and tomatoes contain a phytochemical that can keep your heart healthy.

CherriesStrawberries

Cherries and strawberries contain another phytochemical that has been shown to improve memory.

Eat plenty of this "brain fruit" to help you do well in school and on tests! This phytochemical is also found in some blue and purple fruits so check them out, too!

AppleAn apple a day really might keep the doctor away! Not only are they high in fiber, but they have several other phytochemicals that keep your heart healthy and protect you from cancer. Eat them with the skin on for all the good stuff!
