an antioxidant protecting your body from free radicals that can damage
your cells and your DNA. Damage to DNA can lead to cancer!

you know that beta carotene is also converted to Vitamin A in your
body? Vitamin A is important for your vision, immune system and your
skin. A deficiency can make it hard to see in the dark, you are more
likely to get sick and your skin can become dry and rough. How horrible!
So
look for fruits & vegetables that are orange, red or dark green
and leafy. That usually means lots of beta carotene!
